The Story Behind
Did you know that the 88th day of spring in the Japanese lunar calendar, also known as Hachijuu Hachiya is considered the most auspicious day to commence the tea harvest?
Traditional Japanese folklore has it that tea picked on this special day is not only especially tasty, but also grants the drinker good luck and happiness.
And that is what Matcha88 stands for – the hope to spread happiness and joy around the world through the power of Matcha.
